Julian Lavarra (Founder) is a performer and theatrical producer dedicated to shaping the next generation of artists. A graduate of Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Acting, he has performed on stages across the New York Metropolitan Area since childhood. Julian’s experience spans both performance and production. Currently, Julian is part of the producing team for the Broadway production of Maybe Happy Ending starring Darren Criss, with additional production credits including The Heart of Rock and Roll on Broadway featuring the iconic music of Huey Lewis and the News! Previously, he worked in The Broadway League’s Education & Audience Engagement Department, contributing to the 15th Annual Jimmy Awards (NHSMTA), Broadway Bridges, and the High School Broadway Shadowing Program, all initiatives designed to support and develop emerging Broadway talent. Having grown up underprivileged, Julian understands firsthand the barriers that can prevent young artists from accessing quality training. Through his work, he is committed to uplifting marginalized voices and ensuring that young performers—regardless of background—have the opportunity to thrive.With a passion for both artistry and arts education, Julian founded Crash Course to provide young performers with top-tier training from working industry professionals. His goal is to foster an inclusive, inspiring environment where students can build confidence, refine their craft, and take the next step in their artistic journey.

Elizabeth Hargraves (Teaching Artist) is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter with a passion for developing young performers. She holds a BFA in Acting and has worked as a music director for productions throughout New York City, bringing a fresh and contemporary approach to vocal performance and ensemble work.In addition to her work in theatre, Elizabeth is an active singer-songwriter, blending storytelling and musicality in original compositions that reflect her deep understanding of the craft. As a teaching artist, she is committed to creating a supportive and empowering environment for students to grow vocally, emotionally, and artistically.

Markos Eugenis (Teaching Artist) is a NY/NJ-based performer and educator with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College (Class of 2024). With extensive training in acting, singing, and dance, he has not only honed his own craft but has also dedicated countless hours to coaching and directing others. His professional experience includes working at esteemed regional theaters alongside Broadway professionals, gaining invaluable industry knowledge. Beyond performing, he is a passionate mentor at a children’s theater company, guiding young artists (ages 7-18) in developing their skills. He also teaches dance to children ages 4-7 and instructs both dance and singing for ages 13-18, leading them in various competitions.

Dot Davis (Teaching Artist) is a multidisciplinary theatre artist based in NYC. They graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in May ‘24, and regularly act, direct, perform live music, and comedy. Most recently, they’re performing off-broadway in the new musical Cooking With Butter? at the Players Theatre. They’re a continuous seeker and advocate for the collective catharsis that comes from various forms of live storytelling.
